You buy the domain yourself, usually US$10–20 a year from a registrar such as Cloudflare, Namecheap or Dynadot, so it is registered in your name. The full source code is handed over to you once the build is paid, so if you cancel the monthly plan you keep the website and we help you move it.
Not included: writing your text from scratch (light editing is included), logo design, online shop, payments or bookings, a blog or self-editing, and paid stock photos. Each can be quoted in your proposal.

Questions
Do I own the website?
Yes. Once the build is paid, the design and the full source code are yours, and we hand the code over to you. The domain is registered in your name from the start.
What does the $300 / month plan cover?
Everything needed to keep the site we built running and up to date: hosting, SSL, security and browser updates, uptime monitoring, backups, keeping your domain and forms working, and up to 3 hours of changes a month. You email the change; we make it, usually within 2 working days.
Can the website grow later?
Yes. Because it is custom code, we can add pages, a blog, bookings, payments or a customer login on top of what you have. Each addition is quoted before we start, and none of it needs a rebuild.
What do I need to give you?
Your logo, the text for each page (we lightly edit it), photos if you have them, and your contact details. We send a simple checklist after the consultation.
Do I have to take the monthly plan?
No. You get the full source code either way; without the plan, we show you how to host it yourself. The plan is for owners who want us to maintain and manage the site for them.
How is this different from Wix or Squarespace?
Those are builders: you rent a template and pay the platform every month, and moving away means starting again. Your site is custom-coded and yours, it loads quickly, and it can grow without a rebuild. You do not edit it yourself; on the monthly plan, you send us changes and we make them.
Can I skip the consultation and start now?
Yes. Pay the $500 deposit (50% of the build) by card and choose a time for your kickoff call straight away. On that call we confirm your four pages, your content and your launch date. If, on that call, either of us decides not to go ahead, the deposit is refunded in full. The other 50% is due at launch.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes: 30 minutes, no card and no obligation. It is about the website package. Founders planning a software product can book the separate discovery call instead.
